My working methods seek out innovative ways to create, while minimizing disruption of the environment. I work extensively with plant matter and integrate my knowledge of Botany with the Visual Arts. All my work is handmade from renewable fibers that are sustainable and fast growing, making it environmentally friendly. The emphasis on nature and its preservation is conveyed through the use of natural materials. Making paper by hand and using natural dyes in my work, refer to the preservation of material resources and processes.
