Pulp made with abaca fiber is very versatile. It lends its inherent translucent quality in making beautiful paper as well as making sculptures. It's a perfect fiber to use for embedding various materials.

I made these a while ago embedding jute ribbon, washers and cotton thread between two abaca sheets.
